Please read this before using DESHANK. It forms part of our Terms of Use.
Swinging a golf club involves twisting, bending and fast, forceful movement. It can cause or aggravate injury, especially to the back, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees. You take part in golf and practice at your own risk.
DESHANK gives automated, general feedback based on camera estimates. It is not a substitute for lessons from a qualified golf professional (such as a PGA professional), and it is not medical, physiotherapy or fitness advice. Its measurements have not been validated against launch monitors or other professional equipment and may be inaccurate, particularly in low light or when you are not fully in frame. Results flagged as “low confidence” should be treated with extra caution.
Golf balls and clubs can cause serious injury and damage. You are responsible for choosing a safe place to practise.
You are responsible for how, where and when you practise, and for any decision you make based on the feedback. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for injury, loss or damage that results from your choice of practice location, from not following this guidance, or from relying on the feedback instead of seeking professional advice. Nothing in this disclaimer limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Under-18s should practise under the supervision of a responsible adult, who should check that the practice area and device placement are safe.
