DESHANK does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. We only use cookies and storage that are strictly necessary to provide the features you ask for. These include keeping you signed in to your account and making secure payments. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), strictly necessary storage does not require consent, but we want you to know what it is.

The developer has confirmed that in production no third-party scripts, fonts, analytics or embedded content are loaded, other than Stripe's code on checkout and billing pages. Where you are sent to Stripe-hosted checkout or billing pages, those pages are on Stripe's own website and Stripe's privacy and cookie policies apply (stripe.com/gb/privacy). [DEVELOPER: run a final browser cookie and storage check on deshank.com after deployment (and confirm the deshank.co.uk redirect sets no cookies), and confirm whether the host sets any cookie.]
The speech service your browser uses for voice commands is part of your browser, not our website. It does not set cookies on our site. See Privacy Policy section 3.5.
You can delete DESHANK data with the in-app controls, or through your browser settings (for example “Site settings” or “Clear browsing data”). Deleting it will remove your profiles and history permanently and sign you out. It does not cancel your subscription.
We will update this policy first. Where consent is required by law, we will ask for it with a banner that makes it as easy to reject as to accept, and non-essential cookies will not be set until you choose. [SOLICITOR NOTE: the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 introduces some PECR exemptions for certain low-risk analytics, subject to clear information and a simple way to object. Review against the in-force rules and ICO guidance before adding analytics.]
